<p>My D2 asked me to look at her common app essay and it seemed short, it was actually 511 words. I noticed that the Common App says 250-500 words, do most people keep it under 500 words? I just looked at my D1's essay from 2 years ago and hers was 800+. Just wondering because I was going to tell D2 to add a few more details but maybe she shouldn't? Thanks!</p>
