Do you guys think that they’ll start releasing decisions by the end of March this year? From last year’s thread, it seems like some people got their decision in late March…

Hey guys! Just a quick question, is the Pearson scholarship awarded separately from the U of T decision? Do you have to get accepted first to U of T and then they will pick u for the scholarship? Thanks for the help!
@Eminemxv just wanted to ask- if the scholarship decision tied in with the U of T decision too? So in order for them to select students for the scholarship, the student has to he accepted to U of T first? Cuz what about the students who get in during May?
@Eminemxv me too, I’m so nervous! Do you think being notified of admission decision in the first round (February) is a positive sign?
Guys, this is what’s written on UoT website under Scholarship FAQ
"1. When are scholarship decisions made?
We award University scholarships on the basis of the student’s average at the time of admission, and the decision is sent either with the offer of admission or under separate cover. Most faculty and college scholarship offers are made at the same time. "
I don’t think that includes this scholarship though. I was also notified about an engineering scholarship with my decision but I believe the decision for LBP is made in April…
@daisyduck Yesterday, there was an online chat for engineering (which is my second option after life sciences. P.S: I’ve been admitted to life sciences) and somebody asked the same question. The person from the U of T office answered: “You may get the scholarship decision before your admission decision. Getting the scholarship will not guarantee that you will be admitted to a particular faculty. However, if you got the scholarship, then your chance will be very very very high.”
@iii3213 I hope so! I also got my admission into life sciences in late February! damn, I’m pretty nervous :-SS
@FirstCollegeDad The admissions to this particular scholarship are made in late March until mid April. The decisions should start coming out in the next few days :-SS
@daisyduck yeah the scholarship is awarded separately, and if someone is able to get the scholarship they probably won’t have a problem get in
The decisions should start rolling out this Monday. Please share with us any news so that we lower our expectations
