Let's all be friends. Write a poem about Harvard!

We’re all tense. Let’s be friendly, instead. I think that writing a poem (haiku, sonnet, whatever you prefer) about the school, or about anything, will make us all focus on the good reasons for which we visit this board.

Emily Dickinson style:

A fresh fish is brought upon a dock–

A fresh fish is brought upon a dock–
or a shore-- and people go
through the Yard, into old buildings.

Recently, have I come-- and you–
us all spending a day greeting.
We part in the Yard-- you to your building,
I to the street, on the way to a dock–
in the mood for fresh fish.

hahah...love it!

Waiting for emails,
Harvard EAers rumble,
Winter brings closure.

Love the EA haiku. Almost wish I had applied EA myself, but not really, since the standardized scores that would have arrived first were not quite "Harvard."
