Submit a poem?

Ok, so on the common app. there's an area to submit any additional info you want the admissions officers to know. I want to submit a really sardonic poem I wrote about a 17th century poet whose poetry sometimes frustrates me. Should I include it? What do you guys think?

p.s. i'm applying to uchicago and i think it would give them a chance to see another more playful side of me

*a final note i would like to add is that i wrote this poem more as a joke than anything. it's not meant to be judged for literary merit. i have poems that are serious but i think this one might be better b/c it shows a fun side to me.
agree or disagree?

another qualm is the fact that i have one mildly profane word.

anyway, here are the first two stanzas.

O John Donne, O John Donne
Why can’t you be more funne?
Less psychotic, more neurotic,
You sex addict, too psychosomatic.

In your grave you’re likely tapping
Some seventeenth century ass,
Serious God rape, notwithstanding,
You’re likely having a masochistic blast.

To be honest, I have no clue how that poem would be looked at by admission types, but if they react as I did you had better hope they are not drinking when they read it. Thanks for the laugh.

In all honesty, I doubt that an adcom at UChicago would be entertained by the second stanza in particular.

WOW… you are such a dare…
I did begin my Why transfer essay with two Chinese sayings and no explaination… Seemed that we did something in common… though yours r a little bit more… WOW…

like i said i wrote it purely as a joke, and one of my profs. told me she talked about it in her recommendation and how i did it as a joke. if i did submit it, i’m thinking i would do it with a note explaining that it is sardonic and is not at all the type of poem normally write, and is not meant to be taken seriously…
