with decisions being finalized at nyu, i figure it seems reasonable to start a thread wherein regular decision nyu hopefuls can cheer, sulk and agonize over the next three weeks. feel free to post stats, write songs about waiting or simply laugh at how ridiculously intense these next few days will be.

I’m just worried about my GPA - I guess I can’t really do anything about them now - and short answer questions…I really regret not spending more time on those…

I’m so nervous, considering that if what people are saying is true and the letters are coming starting this week, NYU is the first school I’ll hear back from. AAAAAH!

I’m in SoCal too. If people in the East Coast started getting them today, we should be getting them any time from tomorrow to Thursday. Soooooo nervous, omg.

so nervous! but not all decisions are being mailed this early, right? I don’t wanna get my hopes up and wait the next couple of days, just to find nothing in the mailbox… it’s only beginning of march…

I heard you know right away with NYU. If you’re accepted it’s a big fat envelope, and if you’re rejected it’s a tiny little thing. Wonder if this is true?

No, not all are coming in…I’m pretty sure it’s just elite/honors/scholars acceptances. They have an earlier “admitted students” day (March 27,28).

I’m nervous too! But gashergina, I’m pretty sure they won’t send out letters until late March so that it can reach us right in time for April 1st-ish
