I think it really depends on the high schools. An AP in one is easier than a regular in another in all honesty. It really comes down to grading scale and the difficulty of the HS. I was taking all AP class till this first 5 week progress report hit me. I just couldn't handle the load of all AP classes at mine. I was waking up at 5:30 a.m. and coming home at 6p.m. every night and working for hours and having no time for myself. I sacrificed a few miserable hours to talk to other friends who don't attend the same high school or such. It nearly sent all my grades to the F yard just by doing that 3 times.

Here was my schedule:

AP U.S. Government & Politics
AP European History
AP English(III)
AP Environmental Science(Math kind of lacking so won't take AP Physics C till Senior)
AP Computer Science AB
AP Spanish
AP Statistics
HL: Algebra II/Trig(honors incase you don't know what HL stands for)

Grading scale:

95-100=A
94-88=B
81-87=C
75-80=D

You need a C or higher to get any credit. I've since bumped some of those down to honors which has the same scale but a somewhat lighter workload. I just need some time at least to talk to people. My schedule was owning my life as if I was a prisoner.

^^Wow..how long is your day?

I'm a junior too, and seriously, if you guys are taking a harder schedule than me and still getting good As... GIGANTIC Kudos to you guys 'cause some days, I feel like I'm just going to faint from the work.

AP Biology II
AP Computer Science I
AP Physics I
AP Psychology
AP US History
AP English III

It's been CRAZY. Anyone who thinks that this schedule is easy... should get automatic acceptance to MIT.

"My classmates and I spent a fair amount of time comparing draft lottery numbers and wondering what they would be when we were 19 and the Army was looking forward to giving us an all-expenses-paid trip to Vietnam."

The topic should've ended after this post. He won.

2 AP's are hard enough at my school...I can't imagine 6 or 7.
