What about you guys?

If you don’t mind me asking, what grade are you in?

Will be a sophomore.
I’m curious now, what grade did you assume based off the schedule? @Pandu16‌

Also in the winter I will be doing about 4 hours of volunteering at a hospital a week somewhere in there, I tutor in ESL, many of my friends come to me for homework advice, and yes I do have friends while juggling this schedule

I thought you were going to 10th grade.
Do you think your classes make you busy or maybe your extracurricular activities?

@Pandu16‌ The clubs take up HW valuable time and I will spend lots of time on the Yearbook because I’m a co-captain! The sports take up a ton of time, the HW is just being squeezed it, as long as I can keep all As in my classes it will be busy but not too much

What grade are you going into?

I am going to be a freshman. I’m taking Biology, Algebra 2 , Spanish 1, AP Human Geography,English 1, American Government, and Study Hall. I haven’t started school yet. But, I’m hoping to join multiple clubs and maybe volleyball as well. I go to a magnet school, so I’m probably going to wake up earlier.

Honestly that’s not that bad.You seem to have time in the evening for stuff. When I was in high school, my weekends were packed, I had a full course load (at a school where everything is honors or above, no regular with the exception of electives and PE/foreign language), and had busy days too. My school got out at 3:50 and I would get home at 5, sometimes later. On about half the days, maybe more depending on the year, I would have dance/music rehearsals from 6:30-8:30, usually to 9:30. I’d get home at 9:00 or 10:00 respectively, and then have to finish homework/take a shower, etc. I went to bed at 11 most days or 12 pm on an heavier day. There were some days though, especially if I had a group project, that I was up until 3 am.

Well I will be working a couple of jobs during junior year, so my schedule will be as follows:
6:00 - Wake up & read or check phone
6:30 - shower & get ready
6:45 - make breakfast and pack a snack for lunch
7:15 - organize bag, review formula flashcards and outlines for the day’s course of study while drinking some coffee
7:55 - get ready to leave the house with a thermos of coffee
8:00 - arrive at school
AP Stats
AP Physics1
Gym /health
AP Lang
Lunch - eat small lunch & study in library
APUSH
Honors Pre Calculus
Honors Spanish IV
2:45 - go to locker to gather what is or is not needed for the night (depending on which job, get ready in school bathroom)
3:00 - leave school when sister arrives
3:30 - leave for work after getting ready
6:00 - 30 minute break; review outlines for classes, do 1-2 little assignments
10:00 - finish closing store & leave
10:15 - complete any other little assignments, review notes & formulas
11:45: practice one of the languages I am learning with a friend via Skype or by reading
12:20 - get ready for bed & go on phone for 15 minutes
12:35 - sleep

Just found this original thread. Posted this elsewhere, but here it is.

Well, a typical day in freshman year happened like this:

6:30: Wake up, get dressed, brush my teeth and hair, and eat breakfast.
7:06 ish: Leave with my sister (in her car) to school.
If it was Friday, I would leave early with my mom and have a book club meeting at 7.
7:25: 1st period (Spanish 1/World History Honors)
On Tuesdays and Thursdays, we would have ‘Cougar Time’ in which students failing a class go get remediation and other students can use it as a study hall or just socialize. Sometimes I would go to film club meetings during this time.
9 ish: 2nd period (English 1 Honors/Spanish 2)
10:30 ish: 3rd period (Math 2 Honors/Gym)
12:10 ish: Lunch
12:40 ish: 4th period (Intro to Communications/Biology Honors)
2:15: Dismissal

On random days, I might have a meeting for Beta Club (in the end of the year). Every third Wednesday of the month, I would stay after school for Spanish Club and usually go to a Mexican restaurant. Occasionally, I stayed after for the creative writing club, Sisters (mentorship) Club and Environmental Club.

2:30: Eat a snack.
2:45-4/4:30/4:45 (it really varied each day, and sometimes could be less or more than this): Complete all homework assignments and look over my notes.
Whatever time: Go on my computer, check my email, Facebook, YouTube, FanFiction, Twitter, Quotev, Yahoo Answers and go on Tumblr for exactly 13 minutes. Check College Confidential and my PowerSchools account. Proceed to watch an episode of whatever show I’m currently delving into. Afterwards, query a literary agent.
6:30-7: Eat dinner.
6:30/7: Write.

On some Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, I would watch a tv show episode or two at 8 or 9. Mondays: Bachelor/Bachelorette, Under The Dome. Tuesdays: Pretty Little Liars. Wednesdays: X Factor. Thursdays: X Factor and Grey’s Anatomy.

I would usually attempt to write or just surf the internet until 10:20, a time in which I would shower and get ready for bed. After this, I would look over my school notes, read two chapters of whichever book I was reading and then go to bed.

So, to answer your question, no, I was not actually that busy. I created a schedule that gave me free time and still ensured my success. It helped that I am really wonderful at resisting the temptation of procrastination. Then again, I wasn’t taking 8 AP classes like some people on here. Things will be different this year, but I hope I’ll still my valuable me time.

6:00 AM - Wake up
6:50 AM - Leave house
7:10 AM - Arrive at School
7:15 AM - Talk with friends

Edit: clarification of time

I am currently learning Arabic, Spanish, Russian, German, Italian, and I have started Hebrew 2 weeks ago. My parents’ native tongue is Arabic so I have been speaking that my entire life (both Moroccan Arabic and Egyptian Arabic, so learning a language like Hebrew comes naturally to me, seeing as it’s a middle eastern language). I have already finished every textbook and basically all of the general homework that I need to do. So this year will be like a review. I also plan to work on these essays and projects every day, just doing a bit per day. I will have maybe 1 day off to complete some long term stuff as well. As long as one doesn’t stress out, succeeding with my circumstances is very possible.

I will be a freshman, and here is my daily schedule:

There aren’t a lot of advanced/honors classes for freshman, so I’m taking all that are available.

6:30 wake up
7:25 leave for school
8:05 start school

English

Health

3:10 school ends
4:30 swim practice
7:30 swim practice ends
8:15 eat dinner

Anticipate going to bed around midnight
