Who is excited to be going to MIT next year?
EA admits, let's get to know each other on Facebook! There is an "MIT Class of 2017" group.

Does anyone know if the MIT class of 2017 FB group is restricted to admitted students only ?

I don’t see how this would be possible without a MIT official managing the group

@MITprospect yes, the group is only the admitted students only, hope to see you in there in march

hennebou MIT people are managing the group…

I don’t understand why you would want to join a group for something you aren’t a part of yet. I’m applying to Stanford RD, but I feel no desire to join the Class of 2017 group because I’m not in the class of 2017.

Some people join to ■■■■■… a bunch of Stanford 2017 people infiltrated the MIT 2017 group for just that reason (throwing a wrench into the “why MIT over Stanford” discussion lol)

MITprospect, in theory, it should be limited to only EA admits at this point

But like LuiSciOly said before, Stanford kids got in there and “attempted” to ■■■■■ us before the New Year.

Present tense even - they’re still in the group, but the ■■■■■■■■ frequency has decreased
