Im shooiting for BU or American once I graduate. I know that the Math portion will be my lowest, I have a 3.6 UW gpa so im not inept, I have just never been good, or even average, at Math. I am however pretty great at reading/writing/language/grammar and all of those general things and I think that I can get around 700's on my math and writing but lets say I get a 500 on my Math...

I would still have a 1900 which is a respecatble score, but the Math portion would obviously be horrendous. Other than the obvious "work harder, keep practicing, get a tutor" comments, if I did get those scores and the schools I applied to counted the writing section, would they care more that I got a 1900 or that I only got a 500 on a section?

I think they’ll just see that you’re naturally gifted at English. Math… not so much. But if you can raise that score, however, it’ll show that you’re well-rounded.

Thanks so much, I still have months. And I still have to finish the mandtory SAT Math and Verbal classes that my school has. Once I prepare for this test im sure my Math score will be raised

There is much debate whether Bing even looks at the writing scores but, 500 math is probably a killer.
Presumably, it would also depend on your intended major, especially the sciences.
No one here knows for sure but, it would be very unlikely.

Oh well if they dont look at writing scores than that would just be awful!!! There are plenty of other schools I would like to go to more at this point, Bing was just a school I had wanted to go to for a while up until recently and I would definitely not major in anything with the sciences. I was in the accelerated program but I just managed to get through Chem in my sophhy year so science is a no.
