Hey guys, so here's the thing: I'm normally pretty good at math, but i got one major problem: careless stupid mistakes. And because of that my math SAT score is 700. ( CR-720, W-800) I was wondering whether my relatively low math score will lower my chances at Penn/Brown/USC or will my high writing score make up for it? Also, i have a 710 in Math 1, if that is of any help.

I answered in the thread where you also posted it, but unfortunately most schools disregard writing. 700+720=1420 which is really good, and your math 1 score is good as well. If you think you can improve you can still take it again.

Your GPA, essay, and extras will also be a large part.

@Reckie: Thanks! I probably won’t considering i’m in Senior year and i’ve already given it thrice, guess i got to make do with 2200.
