Planetary Sciences(Astronomy). I’m Daoist, and thus like starscapes.
Bio major, though interested in ChemE too!
Computer Science major
EE is what I’m thinking
@Extinguisher friendly reminder that MIT accepts students to the university, and not to specific majors
I’m interested in studying writing!
Physics major!
Math, I think
Hi, I am applying to MIT through RD. But I am going for Chem E or Comp E.
Best of luck to all of the EA applicants! I am routing for all of you
@nevergiveupp Im actually more of an engineering STEM guy myself. I applied to Georgetown for just general biology but my true passion would have to be biomed engineering which they don’t have, but MIT does
I see. I’ve applied for aerospace engineering.
@smartypants57 I’m well aware that they admit people and not majors, I was just wondering what’s everyone hoping to pursue in the near future. Your major does define your interest to an extent, and your interest defines you. Don’t you think?
@ramenflavors That is one interesting major. Do you regularly write stuff as a hobby?
@peanut10 Yours is quite an intriguing major as well. You must know all about black holes and Carl Sagan and all that. Cool stuff, really. Have fun learning of all the mysteries in the near future.
Quantum physics is the goal; guys like Feynman have always been my idol.
Computer science
@Extinguisher true. Since you asked which majors we had “applied for,” and many people do have the misconception that MIT admits to specific majors, I thought you may have had that assumption as well.
Brain and Cognitive Sciences
Good luck tonight guys
I don’t even have to check mymit. I can already sense the REJECTION.
Apply for Computer Science but I feel this field has become enormously competitive over the years and not just at MIT. Hoping for the best.
I applied*
Hey guys! Just catching up on this thread now that my freak-out over Georgetown is over (I got in!!!). Hoping to go 2/2 EA! Good luck to all!
