Let's Survive the Wait Together

I’m waiting on Lewis & Clark, Colby, GWU, & NYU

i heard back from Pepperdine but was wait-listed so that was a bummer.

I got accepted to UCSB and Cornell ILR.

Waiting on … Cal, UCLA, UCI, Dartmouth, Harvard, Georgetown, Stanford.

The wait isn’t so bad anymore since I’ve been too busy with school, and here I thought my final semester was going to be painless. :-)

^I’m sure a few acceptances alleviate a lot of stress. Grats on Cornell!

^What? No love for UCSB?
Thanks.

Grats on UCSB as well but I don’t think there’s any arguing that Cornell>UCSB haha

WAIT IS ALMOST OVER (but one College, well the main, MAIN one…)!

I know most colleges start giving decisions on Friday, good luck to all!

I’m waiting on UCI, UCD, and UCSB. I’m pretty nervous and somehow have the feeling that I’m going to be waitlisted or rejected because I’m struggling to complete my UC-transferrable math course and my 2nd UC-transferrable writing course this semester, and I have a few Ws here and there.

Don’t worry about the W’s, unless you had a LOT. I am not sure if the state schools, like the UC’s, are as holistic as private liberal arts colleges but I am sure a few won’t hurt.

Have you sought the resources on your current campus to get help?

Don’t be discouraged, we’re almost there!! :)

I have about 4 Ws on my transcript. ._. Is that too much?

It really does depend, but that seems to a bit too many, don’t take my word for it though!

Any of you guys know anything about the differences between Columbia and Columbia GS, in terms of financial aid? Columbia is supposed to be one of those schools that meets 100% of demonstrated financial need for admitted students, and I got accepted to GS yesterday, but now I’m wondering if I misread the financial aid situation and different rules apply to GS students. Anyone know anything about this?

Waiting until Mid/Late-May to hear back from Chicago and Northwestern. The silence is driving me insane.

Waiting on Bryn Mawr, Wellesley and Scripps. I can’t believe we still have another month/month and a half to go.

The anxiety is becoming worse because it’s so close, yet so far. WHY CANT IT BE MAY ALREADY WHY!!!

This time is so hard to pass.studying for the college test and at the same time worrying abut the admission desicion

I have 3 Ws, and they haven’t hurt me so far! I didn’t apply to any UCs, though.

The time is drawing nearer…

^I was accepted into Vandy so now I can relax a bit. I’m still waiting on Northwestern but it’s nice to know that I’ll be at a top 20 regardless of NU’s decision :)

Grats mate!

^Thanks Ace! How about yourself? Have you received any decisions yet? I’m almost certain you’ll get into NU with your credentials but I’m not so sure about myself :/
