Letter confirmation

Hi,
Does anyone here receive mail confirmation from the school? I have not received anything yet. Is it true that we will be provided our ID number and password in the letter confirmation to check our app status in the website of the school??
Please reply me soon. I am so worried now because I have not received anything from the school yet. If the school send the confirmation letter by post only, I think it is feasible that the letter may be lost in its ways to my address ( I live in Asia).
I also have another question:
I want to be interviewed by the school, but there is no alumni interviewer of the school in my country. I intend to request the school

First off, what is "mail confirmation"? If you're talking about letters reminding you what documents you have missing etc., you probably selected the option of not sending them by mail (it probably said something like, "I am currently saving paper by NOT having letters of confimation sent...") The only way I know you could have selected this is on Route Y.

Which brings me to your next question: checking application status. I was under the impression that you can only apply online (and send in the necessary endorsements by mail), therefore you should be able to check what things they have received under the same account as what you are applying under. Maybe there is a different procedure for internationals that I am not aware of...

About interviews: I'm pretty sure they're not offered at all.

I hope that I answered at least some of your questions.

You don't have to apply online. There is a paper application that is accepted too. I work in the admissions processing center in the administrative building on campus. I open the mail, so I have seen quite a few paper applications come in. As for the OP's question, I am not sure of the answer. I would recommend calling BYU if you have any questions.
