Letters of Recommendation for Transfer Student

I'll try to make it brief:

1) How many LOR should I get total?

2) Should I get one from my circuits prof, even though I'm doing ME?

3) Do LORs from non-major professors (classes other than engineering) make me look more well rounded or is it just a waste of time?

4) Other than professors and advisers/counselors, are there other places I should get an LOR from? Like work (not eng. related) or someone I know personally?

Thanks!

If you are talking about LORs for graduate school, I suggest you post in the Graduate School forum.

Sorry, misread the title. It is OK to get letters form any faculty member who knows you well and will write you a good one (ask specifically!). Letters from work are OK but those from professors are better.
