Letters of Recommendation

<p>I managed to get letters of recommendation for the universities that I will be applying to. My employer has given me hard copies for these recommendations. I don't want to inconvenience him, so I'm intending to fax over the recommendations.</p>

<p>However, would I be allowed to create a recommender account and self-upload a scanned copy of the PDF via the CommonApp?</p>

<p>I dont think so. You should check with each school, some schools want hard copies sent in an envelope with signatures across the seal. Others will let you email a scanned copy of the letter but it needs to be on official letterhead or sent from specific email account</p>
