<p>When should I send in my letters of recommendation? Right now, since my teachers are still working on them, it looks like UW-Madison is going to get my letters a couple weeks after my application is submitted....will this be ok? Or should I have sent them before I submitted my application? Also, whats the best way to send in my letters of recommendation? Any other helpful info? Thanks</p>
<p>I believe if you go into your application there is a place to enter recommenders’ info and UW will e-mail them an invitation to submit the letter online, similar to common app. So you don’t need to worry about envelopes and stamps and such. Timing is up to you, but you should fill their info in before you submit app and teachers can submit their part when they are ready. Of course, a few teachers who don’t like to deal with computers and word processors may insist on mailing letters, but online submission is the typical way.</p>
