letters of recommendation

<p>This might seem like an ignorant question.I plan to apply to grad school before too long (in hopes of starting in 2006), and I plan to apply to several schools, about five different ones. Concerning letters of recommendation, how does that work out? Should I get three letters of recommendation, then make photocopies of them and send most of the schools I'm applying to photocopies? That might not be so bad if they're typed, but what if someone handwrites the letter of rec? Also, are grad schools okay with that?</p>
