<p>I can only report that my D has many friends at LU who are gay -- she is straight. I have never heard about any problems and there are also gay faculty and a recent lecture on transgender issues. I believe it would be a welcoming climate but if you PM me, I will give you D's contact info and she can connect you with others who can give you the first hand scoop.</p>

<p>I see that Princeton Review has LU as number 18 in the country on the 'gay community is accepted' survey.</p>
