I’m thinking about studying business in a smaller, liberal arts community. What liberal arts colleges have the best undergraduate business schools?
Babson. Smaller. It is a standalone Business school but does also have liberal arts and belongs to a consortium. You can take classes at Brandies, Wellesley for free.
Wake Forest and Richmond essentially are LACs (Richmond actually is) with outstanding UG business schools. BC, although a little bigger, still feels like one. W&M, although a state school (and a fine one at that) also is run like an LAC.
Undergraduate and residential focus, small classes taught by professors, strong student / professor relationships, etc. I believe RIchmond’s student body (UG) is approx 3k, Wake’s is 5k, W&M 7k, and BC 9k.
Yep, I’m applying to all 4, thank you!! Any others?
Bucknell University &, possibly, St. Lawrence University.
Colgate University for econ & mathematical economics. (Depends upon your career goals as to whether or not Colgate’s options meet your needs.)
University of Richmond should be at or near the top of your list.
Skidmore has a business major, not a separate school.
I believe that Dickinson College has both a business major and an international business major.
