<p>LOL… Berea is not cheaper. The reason they keep cost low is because 100% of students are on 4 year full-tuition scholarships. NO one at Berea pays any tuition.
It is very hard to get in. It as an acceptance rage averaging at 12%. And they operate like the IVY’s in terms of international students - one per country and sometimes none form a country as they only have between 30 to 40 seats each year for international students.
Education is excellent it is ranked in the top 70 LAC’s , but use to be under the regional South, where it was consistently ranked number 1. I guess last year they decided it was way overdue to be under the regional ranking and updated it to LAC. But it is not your typical LAC based on theway it operates, free-tuition, etc… It is also ranked best Value beating out all the IVY’s in that category.
Not why why you have not heard of it, but I am sure many students from your country are aware of it.
It is one of those school you do not put your hopes on, but apply and if admitted, lets just say…“YOU WON THE LOTTERY”.
I always encourage students to apply because you never know. But do not bank on it due to competition, but DEFINITELY apply, and let nature do the rst.
So…
