Try considering Davidson College. It’s a top-notch nationally ranked liberal arts school in North Carolina with great science programs. It would help if I knew what you’re specifically interested in though (e.g. Chemistry, biology, physics, medicine). The science programs also have the best matriculation rates to graduate school, medical school, and the work force.
