University of Redlands
Case Western (maybe reach)
Tulane (less selective now)
UMiami (maybe reach)
University of Tulsa
University of Richmond (maybe reach)
Hope College

Hope is very christian if you didn't know. I was accepted to hope and decided not to attend because of how church oriented the school is (I'm an athiest btw, i was attracted to their english program)

Replace Hope with Kalamazoo, Kalamazoo is VERY strong in the sciences (100% med school placement i believe) and K-College is also liberal and is in a much better area. Kalamazoo would be a reach though.

Based on size and selectivity requested; don't know how good they are for pre-med

U of San Fran
Drexel (on the larger side - 11,900)
UNH (also on the larger side)
TCU (requires an "Understanding Religion" class, but not daily chapel or anything like that)
U of Vermont
U of Denver

Pitzer College
University of La Verne
UC Merced (it's new, rather small at the moment, and eager to recruit students since it didn't meet its freshman objective of one thousand students)

I think Vermont and New Hampshire are both states that have aging populations and are losing college-age students. Therefore, I don't think it would be much harder as an out of state applicant. U of San Francisco and Denver are both privates (Catholic... may want to check for religious requirements)

thanks, would u happen to have any other new england, private, but not religious options, northeast is preferrable, like i said he only wants reign in no church and easy access for overnight guests

bucknell and lehigh would both be good reaches.

there are also some really good matches (like juniata) that are too small according to your criteria but are great for the sciences. what geographic location are we dealing with here?

according to USNews, they aren't affiliated with any religion. at both schools, less than 1/2 of the students live on campus, and i don't think any school can control who comes and goes in off campus housing.

my gifted teacher used to have a book by petersons that profiled a bunch of schools that are strong in the sciences. its probably 10 years old now, but might be a really great place to look because it contained a huge variety of schools.
