Doing apps after getting into college...

...is this considered "fun" for conservatives?

not all of us got into our ed/ea schools :)

Good point :)

Some of my friends did 15+ apps. I did 1 hehe

so i guess liberals enjoyed the september 11th attacks? do they not want to protect the country? if you dont have anything to hide, why are you concerned with little things such as phone wiretaps? if the government wants to listen to my phone conversations, i dont care, they wont find anything. we are constantly under threat, which means that we have to give up some civil liberties that arent very essential anyway. live with it.

ckmets, do you go to Northport HS?

yea i do, where do you go?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. neone find ck's comments hilarious???

so i guess liberals enjoyed the september 11th attacks?
yea ur rite we absolutely LOVED it....

do they not want to protect the country?
yea but going into a country that had nothing to do with the attacks FTW. gj. o yea forgot to mention going in without a plan... FTW. honestly if u had someone in the special forces, i think u'd think differently

if you dont have anything to hide, why are you concerned with little things such as phone wiretaps?
um... because its a clear violation of the 1st amendment... but i guess that doesn't matter to u does it? k dont mind the gov. then, they'll strip all ur rites then. is that ok?

if the government wants to listen to my phone conversations, i dont care, they wont find anything. we are constantly under threat, which means that we have to give up some civil liberties that arent very essential anyway.
NOT ESSENTIAL... WOW. GG. how bout we ship u to north korea and see how u like that?

live with it.
not with u random conservatives around.

Herricks... I play baseball with Mike Dennis, do you know him?

yea i know him, i know hes looking at a lot of d2 schools

Yeah, he's a damn good hitter. He was looking at UNC Pembroke... do you know how that panned out?

about a week ago he told me that hes still looking there as his top choice, im pretty sure he will get in, he is definitely good enough for d2. I thought he might be good enough to play lower d1, but i dont think hes looking at any d1 schools

I was being recruited by Wagner as well as Hopkins, and I always thought he would be able to play/get in there.

well his grades are definitely not good enough for Hopkins

I was talking about Wagner.

yea he could probably play there

Go Mets!!! ("Meet the Mets, greet the Mets, step right up and .... great song) Sorry was that too liberal (or conservative) of a statement.

This is one of the strangest threads in CC history.

this was about libs and cons not some kid and his baseball bat but seriously that comment about liberals and 9/ll was do dumb if anyone conservatives loved it because they used it as a tool for their nutty plans, like putting the repub. national convention in ny in 2004 trying to profit off the deaths of 3,000 ppl

ahh lighten up man :D

Clear violation of the first amendment my butt. Are you saying it's restrictive of your right to free speech when people listen to what you are saying? The conservative here made a mistake when he said that certain nonessential civil liberties are taken away, or something like that. I find that liberals ranting about the Patriot Act A) have never read any part of it, and B) cannot demonstrate to me a single way in which the Patriot Act violates or allows the violations of anyone's civil liberties. Wiretaps were always legal, the only change the Patriot Act made was to allow further use (they've often been used against organized crime) of roving wire taps, meaning that the FBI or whoever can get a court order to track any phone a particular suspect is using, in contrast to before, when the order could only be for one specific phone number. This is because terrorists use cell phones, and often switch phones and numbers to throw authorities off. To me this is commonsense, and has absolutely nothing to do with the first amendment.

How childish of you to insult Repubs for going to New York for the '04 convention. What liberals call "exploiting 9/11" I call reminding America of the consequences of Bill Clinton's foreign policy, ie lie down and take your beating. The embassy bombings, the USS Cole, the first WTC bombing. All of these violent events were left unanswered while Bill fondled his interns. We are in a global war because of 9/11, and one candidate, George W. Bush, actually wanted to win it. THAT'S what putting the RNC in NY was all about.
