<p>I'm from Puerto Rico. I was accepted at Emory University for Spring transfer. The fact is I'm not excited at all. I've been depressed the last couple of days and I'm considering staying in PR and studying at one of Puerto Rico's state school (In PR they are considered the "Ivy", while the private universities are considered the lesser academic institution). My question is what would be more beneficial for Law School, going to Emory? or staying in PR?. Does it even matter?? I know the general question has been answered before but I'm wondering how would the possibilities of getting admitted will change if coming from either of this schools. My dream school, is Yale Law School but I have a few safeties. I currently have 62 credits (Junior Standing). If I go to Emory I will have 47 credits, making me a sophomore (and a rising junior). I will have to graduate in 2012, instead of 2011. Thank you for your help.</p>
