Wow... last stop at New Town is actually 7:19, earlier than I thought. The buses only run until 10:00 during the summer months. Hopefully they'll add a 2nd campus route that includes New Town and runs until 1 or 2 AM like the Green & Gold. I had forgotten about Cary Street; the few times I dared to take the Red Line I always got on at Monticello Shopping Center since I was in the vicinity anyway.

ah, yea, that is really early... you should complain to someone in the student government. Trying to get a bus route with longer hours would be much more productive than at least half of the things they do.

Bump...

I found this really helpful and I thought some other applicants might find it interesting.

A quick update to keep the bus information current... the routes have been revised so that New Town is included on one of the main campus routes; you no longer have to take the Red Line and the buses run much later into the night.

Not much else has changed, though. Williamsburg is still pretty much God's Waiting Room.

Our daughter is a current junior. As a freshmen she requested Barrett and lived in Barrett. Roommate matching was a success and the two stayed together as sophmores. After a semester abroad this past fall she and a friend also abroad, requested hosuing together for the spring. Are living together in their first or second choice. Housing has worked out nicely.
