Hey guys,
My biggest question is what actual life is like there, not whether or not I'll get in. I mean obv it's a rigorous school - but does everyone kill themselves stresswise constantly? I love learning and pushing myself, but I also like my free time. Does free time exist there? Lol.
Thanks.

Sure, it takes a TON of work if you want to do really, really well, but assuming you aren’t overloading on credits, I think most students would agree that it doesn’t take an unreasonable amount of time if you want mostly Bs and B+s.

Everyone has plenty of free time.

A lot of what you do outside of the classroom is what is going to determine how much “free” time you have. I have friends who may only participate in one club and they have time to lounge around all afternoon and evening, and then there are others who participate in everything and are never on campus on the weekends due to traveling for different clubs - and I’m lucky to be able to sit down to a meal and talk to them.

I consider any club or extra curricular activity to be free time.

there is plenty of free time

My daughter is extremely busy with friends, sports, and academics. Loves life, never feels stressed. Had a 4.0 last semester and last thing I’d ever say is she had no life. Keep up with the workload and it’s not a problem. Trust me, getting in is the hardest task!

4 years of the most fun I have ever had.
