Likelihood of Successful Petition to Kelley

My daughter has a 4.0 gpa but only a 1320 SAT. Will her petition be successful?

idk, i have a 1580 sat but a 3.7 gpa.

Apparently they have tons of applicants this year, but fingers crossed. You certainly meet the “over one, close to the other” requirement so yes if they end up taking petitions, no if they have too many automatic admits

Hard to say at this point…at IU Scholars event two weeks ago they noted record DA expectations after a record last year…so very tough to say, perhaps harder than in the past…they’re already sending out acceptances now too apparently

My son applied to Kelley 2 years ago with a 3.75 GPA and 32 on his ACT. They take a hard line on those requirements for the initial admissions decision regardless of the types of classes you took in HS. He was initially rejected but petitioned Kelley and was accepted ten days later. He ultimately decided to go elsewhere, but the petition process does work, especially in cases where you are close to meeting all requirements — wishing everyone good luck!
