Does anybody know when likely letters are sent out? What I mean is, do they send them out all at the same time, or do they send them out as soon as they determine they are qualified enough?
<p>Likely letters are send out toward the end of february, mid march in no random order and only a small number. Don't panic if you don't get one. I remember last year on the CC a number of students were posting about receiving likely letters on the Amherst website and my daughter going into a panic. In the end she was accepted to Amherst w/o the likely letter</p>

<p>Oftentimes they send them out in batches as well, so just because you don't get one right away, doesn't mean you won't at all</p>
