I’ve heard that Cornell and Columbia SEAS has sent out “Likely Letters” telling applicants that they are likely to get in.
do only super-qualified individuals?
Just how many of these do the schools send?? I’ve never heard of them before today.
I didn’t receive anything from either, I’m Valedictorian of a medium sized public school, Eagle Scout, President Student Council, V. Pres Spanish Honor Society, Sec. Honor Society, Assis. Editor of the newspaper, independent researcher, and I’ve always played at least one Varsity sport. . . . .tons of other honors too. . . . .
I worked many hours on my essay, and I’m proud of it.
However, my SATs were just a 1360 and my ACT a 30.
I understand that I am not the absolute best applicant out there, because of my test scores. . . .but should I be worried since I haven’t received a “Likely Letter”?
