I have heard of there being likely letters for RD candidates in mid February but I was wondering if Rice ever sends any likely letters to their ED candidates???

I've never heard of a school doing this. Think about it -- the purpose of a likely letter is to give you a hint that the school is interested in you so that you won't commit to another school before you've heard the official outcome. This isn't necessary if you've applied ED. Also, the turn-around time is pretty tight for ED (from when you apply to when the decision is made). Sorry ... you're just going to have to wait it out. Good luck!

thanks. I figured such but you just never know. I'm so excited for Rice, oh gosh

Yeah likely letters are only for RD candidates...
