Oh I see. I am considering IIIT Hyderabad for now. I lived in Gandhinagar, Gujarat before moving to France. Where do you live? @IntApp2022

@IlluminatiIsReal Hey! What a coincidence! I’m from Rajkot, Gujarat
@iamasadperson they said several entrepreneurs…maybe we’ll all get admitted lol
Oh cool! Which other unis did you apply to? I applied to the Ivies (deferred Princeton SCEA), MIT (rejected), JHU, WASHU, NYU, Northwestern, and Duke.
@Ashtash i hopeee oh my god i dont think i can wait 4 more hours x.x trying to keep myself occupied with work but my sat score was a little low for their range lol (it was in their middle 50% last year ugh)
@Ashtash was the entrepreneurs on the class of 2022 stats page? i didnt see that :o
OH OH I FOUND IT
I have USPS and don’t have the package so I guess I didn’t get admitted. Oh well
@IlluminatiIsReal @IntApp2022 Gujjus are everywhere…
Creighton University’s honors program was my top choice and I got in, so I’ll be okay if I don’t get in. I got a 32 on the ACT so my chances are pretty slim.
welp ill still prob be rejected lol oh well
Wassup guys. Can’t wait for dat big fat L
@billybobby54 me too i just want closure at this point
We are going to an accepted student Honors Day at Pitt tomorrow, so I kind of just want my D to be able to process and put this behind her so that she can really enjoy all of the good things being offered to her by Pitt tomorrow.
4 pm CST?
For those of you concerned about the stats posted by WUSTL, don’t lose all hope. Consider this math, which I hope is right (@Winky1 - I think my math is a tad different than that in one of your prior posts in another threat - I know that wasn’t the main point of your post).
It has been stated on the internet that WUSTL accepted 40% of their incoming class in the early decision round. Each freshman class will be roughly 1900, so that means they accepted about 40% of the 1900 number, or 760 students in the early round. Today, WUSTL reports that they accepted a total during both rounds of 4695 students (15% of the 31,000 total), which means 4695-760 = 3935 students will be accepted today. So almost 4,000 students will be accepted today for the remaining 1140 spots (obviously WUSTL expects about 1140/4000) or 28.5% of the RD applicants to accept and offer of admission. Thus, 4,000 offers of acceptance left is still a lot.
Also, of the total 4,695 acceptances, 25% of those, over a thousand (1174) will have ACTs lower than 33 or SATs lower than 1500 (true, some of those thousand will be from the early decision round, but only some since only about 760 total offers were given in the early round).
So don’t give up hope yet.
@Trinity2016 that makes me feel a bit better ahhh thank you for that
I think you are right on @trinity2016. Thanks for explaining it so thoroughly.
