Likely Rejects

Have any of you been able to sign onto the USPS thing?

Nope. International

It is really bothering me I can’t find out if I am denied yet, even though I know it is inevitable.

Same here

I just wanna know already

Is it sad that I visited and it is kinda my #1 choice because of the tempurpedics and good food?

My son applied, he has 1560 SAT, top 10% class, Cum Laude Society, NMSF, all that good stuff, but he has not invented anything, won national championships, or started a non profit. He is a regular teenage kid who worked his butt off but he did it for himself. He is unlikely to get into any of his reaches but he still tried. I think we all need to really keep perspective. His first choice was UMIch CoE and he got deferred. This was his first experience with “rejection” and in about a day he was over it and on to the next thing. This process should not be defining success or failure. And no one is dying. So everyone be so proud of yourselves for even being amazing enough to consider Wash U. And know that some great school is lucky enough to have you join their Freshman Class!! Congratulations to each of you for getting where you are.

Lol I also started two businesses including a nonprofit there’s dozens of us hopefully we all get in

I hope your son gets into UMich @einyfine . All the best.

I am considering driving to the admissions office

Or tracking down every USPS truck

Patience is not my thing

@matt4isu SAME…I cannot not believe I have made it to today. When I submitted my apps I thought March would never come. And know I’m checking CC every 5-10 minutes

I kinda wanna treat my decision like Schrödinger’s cat. I am not denied until I open the letter.

it’s sinking in that I’m gonna get rejected in about 2 hours… all of this usps informed delivery stuff is making me sad :frowning:

@lacscn Hey, if we get rejected, that is their loss. We are great.

@matt4isu you’re right, iowans stick together haha wherever we end up is gonna be the right place :slight_smile:

@lacscn Where in Iowa?!
