AP Exam - $86, with millions of students taking more than 1 course.
SAT - $45, with almost every high school student having to take it
Score Report - $9.50 - Millions of students have to send these every year for however many colleges (2-10) they apply to.
Don't forget the Late fees, SAT Subject Tests, and Rush score report services as well.

I know Collegeboard needs money, but should something be done about this extensive pricing? I know it won't make noticeable difference with the economy now, but I still think ETS and collegeboard shouldn't be allowed to charge this much money for testing that is required or very beneficial to get into college. My mom, a psychiatrist, even just found out that the all psychiatrists in America will have to take a test every 10 years, and the test costs $1500 to take while the review book costs $500. And now Collegeboard figured out another way to get more money: allowing paranoid students to choose which score reports to send to colleges instead of all the scores so that more students will take the SAT as many times as they want (talking 3-5 times more than necessary maybe) to keep pushing that score higher and higher. You guys think that they'll be able to charge this much without getting criticism from lawmakers, or eventually tests like the SAT won't be required by colleges and the business will go down?
