Limit to Classes outside of SEAS?

Is there a limit to the number of classes a student in SEAS can take in the College? Meaning as an engineering student, would I be limited to only a certain number of courses in the liberal arts college? Also, is it possible to graduate early using AP credit? Thanks.

No, there's no limit. You can take whatever you want as long as you meet the requirements for your degree (SEAS core, liberal arts Core, major classes). There aren't "courses in the liberal arts college" per se. During your first two years, you will take very few SEAS classes since none of you math, science and liberal arts classes are engineering department classes.

You can only get 15 credits of AP, which is about a semester's worth. You can graduate early at Columbia, yes. I did it.

SEAS studnets will take the majority of their freshman/sophomore courses at the College. I thought Columbia only limited your AP credits to 16 if you were at Columbia College, and that SEAS didn't have an AP limit.
