No, with great recs I think you have a strong chance everywhere.

that gives me an idea...maybe i should ask my GC to explain my hearing loss's impact on my score in his letter

Princeton is trying to overcome the idea of a white boy's club....even though that's never really gonna happen completey, so out of all the HYP's, you will prolly just get into that, your 3.7 GPA + downward trend and not-so-unique EC's will kill your chances, even considering your hispanic status. DOn't waste time+$$ applying to Harvard and yale when you could focus your attention on other APPs and make them SUPERB. EMory will love you, so will minnesota, so will princeton, since all the other URM's are usally shoed in by HY. Oh, and sad to say this, but your medical EC"s like volunteering at the hospital is very common....like in other states, maybe not in your state....pratically every other competivtie sstudent who aplies to the Ivies are in similar medical EC's/humniatarian...and biology/medical majors have the hardest compettion.

This is the third CCer with hearing disability. The other twos are asian and african american. I am just wondering...Are colleges more interested in deaf hispanic, deaf asian, or deaf african american?
