<p>Just another prospective pre-med here, but I'd really be interested in doing Ambulance Corps or EMT in college. I was wondering how you got the oppurtunity to do it. BTW, I'm an Eagle Scout so I know the odds and ends of some basic stuff.</p>

<p>o sry, yea u have to go through training, it depends on the corps you volunteer for (or even if you have a volunteer ambulance corps, some are paid). They may just allow you to ride with CPD and Blood Bourne Pathogens training, or they may require you to be an EMT or a CFR which are 4-5 month courses in NY.</p>
