Hendrix is no doubt a wonderful school, but UofA in Fayetteville is much more selective in terms of scholarship money and their honors college offers so much more. Getting money from Hendrix seems relatively easy for students with ACT’s from 26 to 30 and a 3.5 GPA. Not so at UofA … they are doing so much to improve academically and are only offering substantial scholarships to the cream of the crop, even with a 400 million dollar endowment for the Honors College. Honestly, most the top students in Arkansas that don’t go out of state end up at UofA Honors College. Hendrix still grabs alot of premed kids, though.
