Hi everyone! Please critique my college list - I'm planning on apply as a political science history major. Quick overview of my stats: 3.88 UW GPA, 35 ACT, 790 on USH, National AP Scholar with Distinction.

My list (as of now):

EA:
UChicago
Georgetown
UGA (in state)
UMich (OOS)
UVA (OOS)

RD:
Northwestern
Duke (maybe)
Johns Hopkins (maybe)

I'm really not sure if I should take off/add some colleges to this list. Any suggestions?

Forgot to mention: I will need a lot of Financial Aid - I’m planning on apply to a couple outside scholarships to help with the cost of college.

It appears that you have only one safety in UGA and lots of schools that are considered reaches for just about anyone. Although you have good stats, unfortunately so do a lot of other students. You need to add some safety/likely schools.
I know zero about financial aid chances… but you might look at a school like American as a match that offers merit money

You might get a pretty nice scholarship from Tulane. They have a free application, and non-binding Early Action, so there’s nothing to lose. You wouldn’t have to worry about additional academic safeties if you get good news from Tulane.

Keep in mind UGA is getting more harder to get in. Credits to class of 2014, they made a record by having the highest stats out of the many years of class applicants UGA has received.

You may never known. People with 36/2400 ACT/SAT and 4.0 GPAs still get rejected. Also, Early action, which is applying before Oct 15 is when you hear a decision by either mid-November or December not January.
