Living in the dorms

Ok so I lived in the dorms as a freshman, got an apartment as a sophomore, and now I am thinking of going back to the dorms. I liked the dorms because it was easy to meet people and socialize. Now that I'm in an apartment it is hard to meet people and if I'm not in class I'm just in my room or watching tv with my other roommate. I'm thinking of going back to the dorms for my junior year (fall '14). I was wondering if that would be a weird or bad decision of me? Please share your thoughts.

Does your school offer any upper division or transfer dorms? Those tend to be better for older students.

I was a junior transfer, and ended up in a freshman dorm my first year… honestly, I felt out of place and didn’t have a whole lot in common with my floormates. Many of them had classes together, and would form study groups, or would go off to freshman oriented events together. For me it didn’t work out too well, I don’t think it’s the same as being totally new to school and living together with all your buddies.
