Living on main campus - Taking classes at regional campus?

UCF has always been my daughter's first choice for in-state universities. I was fine with that until I learned how ridiculously crowded the classes are. She will graduate high school this year with her AA so she will take upper level classes from the get-go. She is majoring in psychology and many of the 3000 - 4000 level classes have 400 people in the class. As the mom, I'm not impressed!

USF isn't any better. FSU is marginally better. She didn't like UF.

Would it be odd if she lived on campus and took some psych classes at one of the regional campuses? From what I can tell, she would only need to take 5 or 6 in total elsewhere to get the smaller class sizes. The other classes aren't too bad. She would take all of her classes for her minor on the main campus, as well. She does not like online classes so that isn't an option.

She just applied last week so it is contingent on her acceptance. I think she will be fine. She has 4.0 in all of her high school classes and a 3.95 in all of her college classes. She has a 28 on her ACT.

From what I’ve read on UCF’s website, Psychology is currently the most popular major. Given that, all of the requisites and path classes are expected to be very full as the school does have 60,000 people.
