LMU vs UC Davis vs USD

Poli sci major planning on law school, which would be best?? Cost is about the same at each sue to scholarships/grants.

Total fit - none gives you an advantage.

majoring in poli sci, however, is a disadvantage of sorts. Don’t get me wrong - Law schools admit more poli sci majors than anyone - but that’s why it’s a disadvantage - they want diversity.

All three are fine schools. Your LSAT, GPA, and experience will be what matters.

Two have religion - although I don’t believe it’s a huge presence.

Pick the one you like - that’s all that’s required here. Frankly, that’s always what’s required - kids do too much picking based on the wrong thing and then go to the school that isn’t right for them.

UCD is obviously a large school - the others are both ritzy with gorgeous campuses and locations…and beaches nearby.

Thank you! I was also considering majoring in business, but am staying with poli sci my first year bc I’m on the waitlist for Berkeley and it would be my major there. If you have any insight to how strong the business majors are at these schools, let me know!!

My comment remains unchanged - especially if law school is involved.

All three are solid.

Find the right school - two are tiny, one is massive without real sports.

Berkeley has it all - but is it too big.

Davis is a bit granola.

You have three great choices - find the right “fit” - these are all solid in business and / or poli sci. I dont’ believe UCD has a traditional business - more like ECON. In formal business, probably USD is best but all are solid.

Honestly - find the right school. You don’t know what you want yet and that’s fine. Where can you enjoy your four years? That’s what matters here…no wrong choice.
