<p>In my package, I received the Federal Perkins Loan and the Federal Subsidized loan. I know that interests do not start to accumulate until I graduate. However, I do have a question about their repayment policies. Can I pay back the loan in full amount during the grace period after graduation to avoid interest accumulation? Or can I pay back during my time in school w/out any interests? Or do I need to follow a rigid schedule and be required to repay with the interest?

<p>You can repay it early without any sort of penalties. When you do the entrance counseling there will be a section that will tell you that you have that right. make sure you print off copies of the entrance counseling information so that you have all that information filed away for future reference.</p>
<p>Loans can be paid back at any time. Any grace period that the loan will not accure interest will still be in effect even if you start paying before it is up.</p>
