<p>My Truth in Lending statement tells me that my Perkins loan is 10 years and will have 39 quarterly payments. But can I begin repaying the loan right when I start college, or do I have to stay on their repayment plan? I'm not planning on paying the interest fee 9 months after I graduate.</p>
<p>You can repay it whenever you want to. If you repay it before the end of the grace period you will pay no interest.</p>
