So, I’ll be commuting to UCR this fall and before I had that I would be living on campus. I told financial aid about two weeks ago that I would be living off campus, but it takes four-six weeks for my information to update. when I accepted my awards I accepted both the subsidized and unsubsidized loans due to the thought that I would be living there. I still do not know my new awards, but if I do not need the loans, would I be able to cancel them? Or would I still have to pay them back? I’m new to this loan stuff…
