Location of Acceptance Letters

re: reserving housing. Here’s a little tip: It only costs $30 (at least, that was the amount in past years) to reserve you spot in priority. You have many months to change your requested housing, so don’t worry about knowing exactly where you would want to live right now. It is advisable to get into the system at the earliest point to give you best chance to get your favorite housing later. If you decide to attend another university later, you are only out the $30.

This is one of the perks of getting that early admission letter!

One of the benefits of being accepted in these early waves is the opportunity to apply for housing early. It is much more likely that students will get their first-choice selection if they get their housing applications in during January or February. The housing deposit is $30 and in no way commits you to attending USC. If USC is still on the list of schools she might attend, it is probably worth the $30 to apply now for housing. Don’t worry if she isn’t sure which housing options to select, she can change her preferences later without losing her priority.

Not me, idano. I’m still waiting for scholarship and/or FA info.
I imagine FA stuff wouldn’t come until the normal dates, though, as few would have official 2009 tax return information yet.
