Lockheed Martin intern expectations?

<p>Hey guys I've been hoping for an internship at Lockheed Martin since I started college. So far I've only finished my freshman year at Old Dominion University.
Major is Mechanical Engineering and 3.1 GPA.</p>

<p>I'm planning on working much harder this year (getting all A's, not the easiest thing ha). I actually don't plan to apply there till next year mainly cause I don't have an internship experience and I'm hoping to get one at my dads place next summer. </p>

<p>But mainly I just want to know what Lockheed Martin would expect a prospective intern to have. GPA, what college I go to, leadership skills, and work experience?</p>

<p>I never had a internship at Lockheed, but my previous boss was a recruiter there in engineering. I don’t know the requirements.</p>

<p>My only small advice is that Lockheed uses CATIA as there main 3D CAD software and also uses ENOVIA Smarteam to manage their files in their system. If you learned those then you would have an easier advantage then others.</p>
