Today is a “log in day”. I have had to log in everytime I’ve switched areas, used my back arrow, or exited this site…and YES, I checked “remember me”.
How come some days, I don’t have to log in at all, and on other days I have to do it again…and again…and again…and again!?
Every freaking time I’ve come on here today. Both mobile and PC. UGH
@thumper1, thanks for signaling the issue. It actually happened a few times to me as well these past days. I have sent a note to the tech team and we are now working on having it fixed. Will post an update when I know more. Thanks!
@thumper1 and @romanigypsyeyes, can you help me troubleshoot this? I have a theory, but need to better understand the issue. When you were forced to log back in, and you clicked on the login link, did you have to re-enter your credentials? Or was clicking the login link enough for the forum to pick up your session again?
Sorry for the glitches; I’m working to isolate the problem, and thanks for any info you can provide.
I just have to click login. I do not have to re-enter my credentials.

Same as music but this has been going on since the downgrade and they’ve said it was fixed more than once.
I have to log in fresh daily but within a day on same computer it is fine.
Usually I have to only click “log in” but sometimes I have to renter my username and password. There is no pattern to this. Sometimes I have to log in…sometimes not.
Oddly, I was away all day and did NOT have to log in.
Seems like whatever should be consistent…and it’s not.
Yesterday, I had to log in at least 20 times…just by hitting log in…but still! Why??
Just to add another point of reference, here’s my experience the last few days. When I go to the CC page, which is one of my “favorites” on the front page of my MacBook Air, I am taken to the Parents’ Forum page. At the top I see “Log in”. When I click on that, I am logged in without reentering my info but I am taken to the main discussion page. Sometimes when I use the back key I have to go through the whole process again. It’s very clumsy.
Recently (like in the past few days) I keep having to log in as well…very frustrating.

As usual, THANK you for the support! This is a bit of a roller-coaster ride for us as well, as some of these issues are very difficult to reproduce. The tech team is doing its utmost best to solve them as fast and thorough as possible.

Sorin…I guess I can’t use my back arrow on my iPad? Get logged out with that but not every time I use it…only some of the times.

I was also having login trouble for the past week or so but if I just clicked on the Log In button, it automatically brought me to the forums and I didn’t have to input my username or password. Then it seemed to be fixed for most of yesterday. But last night when I tried to access the forums, I had to log in again with username and password and the same this morning. Looks like it’s broken once again. :((
And oddly, I didn’t have to log in…yet. Very inconsistent!
Checking “remember me” is useless. I have to log in every time. >:P
And now it seems to be fixed for me! Why does it affect different members differently?
If you are experiencing log in issues, can you please clear your cookies and start fresh with a new remember me session? This may help with any lingering issues. If this does not help, please respond that you attempted and it is still misbehaving for you. Thank you for your assistance in diagnosing this issue.
