is anyone here from or have they been to LSE? I want to study there for a year but I have several questions first...

Hows the social life?
Hows the rigor of the academics?
Which residence hall is the best?
are the people outgoing?
Should I apply straight to the general course, or should I use IFSA-Butler's intermediary program?

Hello,

I am currently a student at LSE doing a Masters. The uiniversity is really good (although the buildings are kinda crap). The Proffessors are really good and the Library is amazing. So far I have not found it very hard but my optional courses only start after x-mas. The best hall is probably Grosvenor House (only postgraduates) but as a general course studnt your better bets are: High Holborn (small rooms but only about 8 minutes walking from the campus), Bankside (nicer rooms but about 25 minutes walking from campus) and Northumberland House (just openend and off Trafalgra Square).

All the general course students I have meet seem to enjoy being here.

If you have any more questions just send me a messege
