I realize this was posted in College Life section too haha. Let's hear the input from high schoolers. I'm a sophomore. I have a girlfriend. Yes it may sound lame, but I think she's the "one". We've been together for a couple of years and so far things been great. Any input? I hope we go to same college, but you never know. What's the talk about long distance? LET THE COMMENTS FLOOD IN.

No.

..........

If the relationship was meant to last it will survive you guys going to different colleges.

It did for only one couple I know of. One person is at Babson, the other at Carnegie Mellon. Thats the only one I know of that ever worked that far away

i know one where the girl goes to college in new jersey and her boyfriend in wisconsin. they're finishing their sophomore years right now

Hrmmm... I don't think it would work.

I've been dating on/off a girl from New York (I'm in Wisconsin) and it sort of works... We get along great and I'm sure we'd be amazing together if we were in the same STATE, but sometimes I feel like things could be a lot better if we actually saw each other.

Don't count on it too much, but don't dwell on it either. It won't be nearly as hard when the time comes (if you're still together then) as you think it'll be.

If one can find courtney1121 one may be able to get a detailed answer from some of her posts.

It won't work.

I don't think it will work, either.

This makes me want to sing "Let's Get Physical" which is kinda hard in a LDR. I can't sing.

I'm not sure I really believe they can work out. Of course, there's always an exception to rule.

What is an LDR? You can attach a microphone and record it on a .wav file, then put it out for all.

Long distance relationship?

Possibly, but I thought she meant singing in some type of room, unless the connection is that one cannot be physical in a long distance relationship, which is very true. Sucks to be on CC for that sole reason-there are no faces, just SNs and a few posts.
If anything I would attempt to use a rendition of Sensemay

how did you meet her? i hope you've actually seen her and it's just not an internet relationship lol.

He lives in Beijing, so the answer unless the girl lives in China is probably no.

Yeah... I meant you can't get physical in a Long Distance Relationship.

My friend and her boyfriend had a hard time staying together when she went to Chapel Hill (15 minutes away) and he was still a senior in high school..they're broken up by now..

(the point is that if they couldn't survive a 15-minute separation, and they were great for each other, I'm sure it would be even harder for you and your girlfriend)

Haven't any of you watched Road Trip?

I haven't.

Well. First of all. Road Trip = Movie.
Long distance. as in after high school IF we aren't together in same college. Wee're both in beiijing though.
