<p>What's the longest research paper you have ever written in high school? Mine is only 16 (double spaced) for my sophomore history class, but I had a 14 page one for lit at the same time. The funny thing is I have written what was supposed to be a simple lab report that turn out to be 9 single spaced pages excluding graphs and pictures.
I'm sure once I start APs next semester and senior year, they'll get longer.</p>

<p>A 22 page double spaced paper for sophomore English on the works of Kurt Vonnegut.</p>

<p>I've gotten up to 15 I think before. I would write more, but most of the papers I have to write are shorter term, not like long research papers.</p>

<p>14 to 16 pages about Ancient Egypt.</p>

That sounds interesting, Spinach. It's not surprising you got 14-16 pages out of such a broad topic! :)</p>

<p>My longest paper was/is 41 pages long. 20 pages of text, and there are 21 additional pages of text in the appendices. It is the evil known as the IB Extended Essay. <em>shudders</em> My essay deals with the importance of supplies to the Allied victory at the Battle of El Alamein.</p>

<p>Wow....we did absolutely no papers for APUSH. At all. The closest we got were in-class DQBs (once per term). Our teacher was really good tho...I got a 5. </p>

<p>This year I'm only really writing essays for AP Lang + Comp (kind of a given).</p>

I wrote an essay for IB English about Emerson and Transcendentalism (esp. using Nature) last year. Emerson's really interesting.</p>

<p>Yeah mine was on nature and self reliance and transcendentalism in general. Good times were had.</p>

<p>39 page - grade 10 english project (short story analysis) 7k something words
28 page - extended essay (ib diploma) 3k in body + appendix + abstract</p>

<p>I know some people's EE went over 40 pages ( especially the ones that did sciences needed the spaces for data presentation.)</p>
